簡単な家庭料理:Original simple recipes: "Sanma" with veggies and pork in tomato sauce

Vocab:簡単 kantan - simple
家庭料理 katei ryouri - homemade dishes

It's fun to experiment with ingredients to make something different.  Here, the mackerel pike (usually eaten grilled) is easier to eat because it has been deboned and made ready-to-eat by mixing it with vegetables and seasoned with oyster sauce.  Pork cutlets here were not sauteed so the dish has less calories; the cutlets were boiled in Japanese sake before adding tomato sauce and fish sauce.

vegetable coktail of carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and green beans. Seasoned with oyster sauce.

Pork cutlets boiled in Japanese sake (cooking alcohol) and added with  a can of tomatoes.
