Scent of tenacity - how?(粘り強さの香りーどうやって?)

Vocabulary: Scent (kaoriー香り,halimuyak); tenacity (nebaritsuyosa-粘り強さ, katatagan)

May I be like the lavender...

Everyday, we may be facing a lot of challenges or conversely,
each day seems to be meaningless or purposeless.
But every day comes and goes so fast and yet,
worries come but don't seem to go as quickly.
However, this is one beautiful verse that reminds us of what
we need to keep in mind each passing day....

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God."
                                                             - Philippians 4:6

Indeed, I tell you, like the lavender plant,
though short and fragile, its lovely blooms
exude a most relaxing scent when breeze
or even a stronger wind blows.

Excerpt from "Vessels of Honor" by Woodrow Kroll:

"When in prayer we inform God of our situation,
                        it is not because He is unaware of how desperate we are;
we do it so that we are aware of how desperate we are."

  1. Lavender's "emotion":

"I am not a strong tree but just a fragile bush so I get tossed by the wind, sometimes bruised and twisted, making me bow so low. And yet, in all of these, my aroma fills the air and soothes a gazing passer-by." - Big little angel
